LAUNDRY
The laundry is a complete automatic system. Employees load the machines and all soaps, bleaches, softeners, etc. are added mechanically at the proper time in the cycle. Clothing is marked with the resident's name and can be laundered and returned to its owner daily.
HOUSEKEEPING
The Housekeeping Department maintains rooms, furnishings and all other areas thoroughly so that there is a healthful environment and the beauty of the building is maintained. Employees receive instruction concerning courtesy, confidentiality of resident information, personal appearance and the importance of their interest in our residents' lives.
PURCHASING
The Purchasing Department gives special attention to quality. All supplies are purchased at the best possible price for the needs of the residents.
OFFICE
The office staff provides all departments with secretarial accounting skills, as well as cheerful assistance to residents and visitors when accounting or general information is needed. They also provide counseling and information to families as to financial matters such as eligibility for Medicare, Medicare Replacement Plans and Medicaid. Out-going mail is picked up daily (except Sundays) and incoming mail is delivered personally. Newspaper delivery is also available.
